Fresh Stop Pilot Winter Program

Starting Saturday, January 18 | 10-11 AM | Dining Room

For the first time ever, thanks to local farmers who continue to grow in greenhouses, Fresh Stop will run through the winter! Our Pilot Winter Fresh Stop Program will begin on January 18 and continue every other Saturday through March. We’re also offering the option to pre-order all five pickups in advance, or you can order individually for each week.

This winter, we’re returning to the Tab Dining Room (418 E. 34th Street, Indianapolis) for our Fresh Stop pickups, after being hosted by the Raphael Health Center the last two seasons. Pickups will take place from 10-11a, and we encourage you to come early to enjoy chatting with Chef Koby Bluitt. She will be providing recipe ideas and handing out samples to help you make the most of your fresh produce share. A newsletter with more recipe ideas and information about the produce will be available, and the coffee pot will be on to warm us up!

Fresh Stop is a Tab ministry committed to providing affordable, fresh, and locally-sourced produce to everyone, regardless of income. We offer a sliding-scale pricing model, with shares priced at $15 or $30, and a discounted $10 price for SNAP card users. The deadline for the first pickup is Sunday, January 12, and payment can be made online at www.freshstop.org or at the front office. How to Order

      • Online Ordering: Visit FreshStop.org to place your order using a credit card or PayPal. You can view the income breakdown online to determine whether you qualify to pay $15 or $30 for your share.
      • In-Person Orders: Stop by Tab’s Front Office to place your order with cash or a check.
      • SNAP Card Orders: To pay only $10 with a SNAP card, simply reply to this message with your SNAP card numbers, and we’ll guide you through the process.
