Maundy Thursday
Thursday, April 17 | 7 PM | McKee Chapel
You are warmly invited to join us for our Maundy Thursday worship service at 7:00 PM in McKee Chapel. Maundy Thursday commemorates the night of Jesus’ Last Supper with His disciples, where He shared a final meal and instituted the sacrament of communion. The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “command,” recalling Jesus’ command to love one another. This sacred service will offer a time for reflection, remembrance, and communion as we honor this important moment in the Christian faith. We welcome all to gather in reverence and unity for this meaningful observance. We hope to see you there.
Good Friday
Friday, April 18 | 5 PM & 7 PM | Sanctuary
You are invited to join us for Good Friday worship as we reflect on the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. We will offer two services in the Sanctuary: The first, a moving musical service at 5:00 PM featuring Michael John Trotta’s Seven Last Words. This performance will include Tab’s Sanctuary Choir, orchestra, and guest soloists Patrick Lord-Remmert and Toria Sigafoes. The second service, a solemn Tenebrae service at 7:00 PM, will commemorate Christ’s passion and end in semi-darkness as we listen to Scripture readings, litanies, and prayers. This sacred observance invites us to remember the depth of Christ’s sacrifice for us. We welcome all to join us in this reverent time of reflection and prayer.
