8th Annual Nancy’s Ride
Saturday, September 20 | 8 AM | Begins and ends at Tab
The 8th Annual Nancy’s Ride returns this fall, bringing together cyclists, families, and neighbors for a day of purpose and fun. Whether you’re a seasoned rider, a weekend cruiser, or simply want to enjoy live music, snacks, and family activities, there’s something for everyone. Registration is free and open now at freewheelinbikes.org/nancys-ride.
Nancy’s Ride honors the legacy of Nancy Stimson, founder of Freewheelin’ Community Bikes—a nonprofit youth development organization and local bike shop that uses bicycles to teach leadership, life skills, and healthy living. Through cycling, young people gain independence, build confidence, and discover their potential.
While the event is free, participants are encouraged to donate or raise funds to support Freewheelin’s programs. Even small contributions can help provide bikes, tools, and training for youth across Indianapolis.
So grab your helmet, invite your friends, and be part of a ride that celebrates community and creates opportunities for young people to thrive.
